had a long day on mon n tues man.

yesterday woke up early to send regan to sch. coz got chinese speech n drama class so muz reach before 9.30am. den wash my dirty car at mom's hse. its really so dirty lor. =P but its nice n clean nw! keke...

bought breakfast for dar n meself. he's working afternoon shift dis wk. it wasnt as bad as yesterday la. den took a quick nappie. woke up n i was running late coz i had an appt at 3pm at apollo centre.

anyways, though i was still hme at 3pm, i went to bouna vista to take red packets fr cheryl 1st. coz i told her i wld reach at 2pm. haha... chat wif her for awhile. she cut her hair short a mth ago but haven seen it yet.

made my way to apollo centre n got there at 3.45pm. discussed for a while den went to ntuc bras brasah to do sme stuffs. go pai pai at bugis guan yin miao after tat n eat katong laksa for lunch at 5pm. wanted to go into OG to c got any nice sch bag for regan anot but thot wait for dar n regan to choose together.

pick regan on e way back. got hme ard 6.15pm to bathe n clear sme work before going over to mom's hse for dinner.

wat a boring day. =(

mon was a bit better but it was hectic. my legs was aching so badly at nite.

bought e below books n tat whiteboard marker dis morning for future use coz i did relief teaching on mon. haha...

i had registered wif moe since aug last yr but was nt called up at all by any sch. den on fri dap told me to call 2 schs tat she heard were looking for relief teachers. after calling e 2, i thot since i'm at it, muz well call ALL the pri schs in my estate. n so i did.

was deep in my slp when i was awoken by my hp ringing on mon morning at 6.30am. tinking it muz b a wrong number i answered wif a weak hello. when e person says sehs calling fr kranji pri i was finally jolted to sit up n listen. keke...

anyways, i agreeed to go dwn to do relief. had to reach at 7.15am but i cldnt get a cab. mornings always damn difficult one lor. reached at 7.30am. i was so so so nervous coz it was my 1st time. i really din noe wat to do.

brought e kids to class. asked dem to keep quiet n do their work. well, i guess they c me like so nice (coz i really dun noe wat to do) tat they started to run all over e place like a bunch of monkeys. even played DAI DEE openly ok. *faints* bully me sia. e class was so noisy, rowdy n messy. when i tried to ask them to b quiet, they IGNORED me as if i'm invisible. *wails*

btw, u need ur own whiteboard marker. i tink all e teachers carry their own coz there was none in class. i was so ill-prepared.

after 3 periods, i had a break n called dap immediately for HELP!!!

it was really fun. enjoyed it lots.

they even tried to test me wif a wits qns which i luckily got it correct. *phew*

student : teacher, how many bees are there in the backgarden?
me : *tink tink tink* 1

anyways, e assessment bks i bought dis morn will really come in handy. apparently fr dap, e kids hate doing work which is true. haha... so just threaten dem if they get noisy, they shall haf to do worksheets. when i said tat, e kids even retorted back 'teacher, where r ur worksheets?' n when i whipped dem out fr my bag (i quickly went to e sch library to photocopy sme during e 2nd break i had), they quickly said 'no no no, teacher, i do my own qork quietly, i dun wan to do worksheet.' hahaha...

n if they r still naughty, teacher dap says 'i will get e principal since u all r nt listening to me'. i din haf to go to tat extent. they were worried wif my worksheet distributing already. hee...

but a handful of dem really hardworking lor, ask me for worksheet. *faints* so i gave n they did. when i marked dem, its like almost ALL wrong. n they were a pri 5 class doing a pri 4 english worksheet. v bad. wonder hw they gonna cope. but i din haf a chance to talk to e teacher whom was on mc tat i had to cover so well, guess its her prob ba.

i made a mistake when i step into class. i allow dem to call me by my 1st time. dap says tat will make dem bolder lor. n coz i din noe wat to do, i told dem i wun do any teaching n they r to do their own work n keep quiet. soon, sme start asking me for permission to change places which i allowed. bad move. it started e whole monkey business.

but when i went back after later in e morning to e same class i was reliefing early morning, they were at 1st happy to see me coz they can bdo watever they like but little do they expect i'm more trained, =D, i said a few liners tat works fr dap 'ok class, because i was so nice but u all took me for granted n was misbehaving n noisy, nw which one u wan me to do? a, conduct e class. b, do worksheet. c, do ur own work quietly.'

kids oso likes choices n they'll sure choose c. so dun need to do any teaching one la actually unless u doing long-term relief teaching coz e teacher is on course or wat. haha...

so they chose c n kept quiet throughout. i asked those who change places to move back. no walking ard without permission. no talking. if nothing to do den do my worksheet. haha... so i walked ard e class periodically to ensure they r doing smeting. i din really sit dwn la. it was so odd sitting there. so i walked ard n stood at one corner watching dem like a hawk. it really work wonders. i had a peaceful time.

btw, i got e whiteboard marker coz u need ur own. so lousy rite. apparently, all e teachers carry their own but i guess they draw e stock fr moe la. coz there were none in class. i was so ill-prepared as i din had any. n i forgot to borrow fr e general office when i was there doing e photocopying of e english worksheets tat i got fr e sch library. =P

after teaching, dar picked me up. bought mac back for lunch. its been so long i ate mac. den iron dar's uniform. marked e kids worksheets. did sme rush research for project 'x' before sending dar to work, return e marked worksheets to sch n den rush to hougang.

i was so exhausted when i got back at 6.30pm.
